Saigon’s lost generation

There are uncountable children on the streets of Saigon. Lost parents, poor background, shadow figures that exploit their emotional faces; the reasons they work on the streets are manifold and the fact that one is more likely to give money in the hand of a innocent child doesn’t assist in easing the situation.

Most kids work from early midday until the morning dawn, begging for money or selling tourist items. A bulk of them doesn’t visit school and live a life with unknown dangers. One prime example for these dangers is worn on 8 year old Dũng’s body. His right breast was mutilated by an adults cigarette.
